Today, through a new report released by DigiTimes.com we get to know that Russia’s LTE tablets demand will keep growing in 2015 too, mostly because of the regional brand vendors and to the strong consumer demand for high-end devices.
According to the research company, recently during a couple of visits to firms in China’s supply chain was discovered that a lot of white-box makes have been accelerating their shipments of LTE-tablets to Russia in order to replace the 3G models.
By taking such a decision, the white-box players will avoid competition from vendors of cheap tablets and they will get better profits. Even if at the moment, the LTE’s network in Russia accounts only 1.5% of all users, the country is placed in the top-10 LTE markets last year. Digitimes said that LTE-enabled tablets will account 30% of all tablet shipments in Russia this year.
