OPPO already has a tablet out and now there’s a new OPPO Pad coming. Dubbed the Oppo Pad 2, the device will feature an 11 inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution. By the way, the OPPO Pad is still pretty fresh, having been unveiled back in February 2022.

A recent report claims that the Chinese company is preparing a successor and tipster Digital Chat Station shared some details about this OPPO Pad 2. While the OG model had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, the Pad 2 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity chip. The source mentions that the OPPO Pad 2 will use an 11 inch LCD screen, with a 2800 x 2000 pixel resolution. The predecessor had a LCD screen with the same size, but a lower res, 2560 x 1600 pixels.

In lieu of the Snapdragon CPU we’ll have a powerful Dimensity 9000 chip, which was also seen on a special version of the OPPO Find X5 Pro, with ray tracing enabled. The new tablet will also offer a large quantity of memory and a big battery with fast charge. As far as the launch goes, OPPO has an event called INNO Day 2022 scheduled for December. That’s when they’ll unveil info about their new foldables, Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.

Price-wise, the first OPPO Pad was priced at $321, but the new one may cost even $500.
