OnePlus is about to enter a whole new segment, as multiple leaksters see it making its very first tablet. The OnePlus Pad is coming in 2023 and worst case scenario it’ll end up being a rebranded OPPO Pad. The info comes from OnePlus tipster Max Jambor.
The device has been rumored for many years now, but solid work on it has been done only for the past year or so. “OnePlus Pad” is already trademarked as a product name. If it’s truly an OPPO rebrand, we know what to expect. I’m talking about the OPPO Pad with an 11 inch 2.5K LCD 120 Hz screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and the OPPO Pad Air, with a 10.36 inch screen, 2K resolution and a 60 Hz LCD panel. There’s also a Snapdragon 680 CPU there.
It’s more likely that the first tablet is the one rebranded. Android 12L is expected to be on board and we could even get a keyboard dock and stylus support. An 8360 mAh battery should also be on board, plus quad speakers and probably 6 or 8 GB of RAM. By the way, the OPPO Pad has 128 GB of storage and it’s priced at a reasonable $365. We should also get a 13 MP back camera with a flash and 33W charging. I wonder if OnePlus will make its own stylus, or just provide support for the OPPO Pencil.
