Ever since the Nexus 8 tablet that has been rumored in a certain LG version has been proved to be the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition, rumors about a Nexus 8 have died. Some are still wondering about this device and some even dream of it, like the designer Nikolai Prettner.
He imagined a Nexus 8 tablet concept, that’s shown in the image above. I can’t help but wonder what company Google will select to make this product. Maybe Samsung, or maybe even LG or ASUS? The design is quite similar to the Nexus 7 from 2012 and the bezels are pretty small this time. This model is totally not elongated like the 2013 Nexus 7 and I feel a slight resemblance to the LG G Pad 8.3.
I’m expecting a Snapdragon 805 CPU inside and a 2K display resolution, as well as a big battery, since the Nexus 7 has never impressed in that area, compared to the iPad Mini for example. Will be see the Nexus 8 at Google I/O 2014 or at the year end?
