A new Samsung tablet, going by the codename SM-W700 has received certification from both the WiFi and Bluetooth authorities. The device is said to run Windows 10 and judging by the leaks and Zauba listing, it comes with a 12 inch screen.
It’s been a while since Samsung has been in the Windows game, so this slate has been long time coming. Certified last month, the SM-W700 has all the chances to be unveiled at CES 2016, or maybe MWC 2016. Rumors talk about 4 GB of RAM, a Quad HD or 4K resolution, an S Pen in the mix and a reasonably slim chassis.
There’s also word of an Intel CPU inside, although for such behemoths Samsung usually relies on a powerful Exynos. The pairing of Intel and Windows has become classical though, so they may opt for that. After the Galaxy View, nobody can be surprised when and if Samsung makes a big diagonal tablet. Still, the 4K resolution sounds interesting.
