Right now Apple’s wireless keyboards for the Macs are compatible with the iPad and iPhone, but they weren’t meant to be used with mobile devices. That’s why it seems logical that Apple is preparing iPad-oriented tablets for its future slates.
A new report claims that a new keyboard accessory is in the making for the iPad. It could be made specifically for the iPad Pro, that may be announced on September 9th. We could end up seeing an accessory similar to the ones that the Surface tablets use. Maybe we’ll get a sort of keyboard folio…
The same report talks about potential future Smart Covers and Smart Cases for the iPad Pro. We have no idea how much such a product would cost, but with Apple being Apple, they will probably be overpriced. Last I heard, the iPad Pro was getting a keyboard dock, that would turn it into a sort of MacBook.
