Microsoft Courier is one of those great “could have been” products and we’re reminded yet again about its potential by a patent that’s been recently uncovered. We have to mention that this device was shown off, introduced and even caught on camera, as a concept. Next up came its cancellation and the Microsoft executives responsible with the device were shuffled around the company.

Its patent is months old, dating from January 19th 2010 and it recently broke lose, as it was accepted. The documents show the official design of the Courier, that still belongs to Microsoft and can still be turned into a dual screen tablet, if needed. We wouldn’t bet on it happening, though…
