Lenovo wants to break the record for largest tablet available, seemingly, since it’s readying a 23 inch unit exclusively for home use. Usually we see slates measuring up to 10 inches in diagonal, but we’re dealing with double the size. Actually, the company showcased a similar unit at CES 2011 in January.

It was dubbed the Lenovo IdeaPad and it was based on Microsoft Windows 7, but that was a mere prototype, not intended for the commercial market. Lenovo has now changed its mind and intends to make this a viable product for home use. You can move it from one room to the other for gaming, TV watching and basic computer use.

This will be an All-in-One device, according to William Cai, Lenovo’s senior marketing specialist. No info on the technical specs, but we’ll keep you posted.
