Priced at 300 quid, the Kobo Arch 10HD was judged to be a “handsome 10 inch Android tablet” by PCadvisor.co.uk, who reviewed the device. This unit has a 300 ppi display, access to the Google Play Store and great build quality.
There’s an edge to edge glass facade, with some amount of bezel and the reviewer compares this product with a budget version of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, if you want. The rear is made from a solid plastic with good grip and the Kobo Arc 10HD is well built, but all this solidity makes it quite heavy, at 627 grams.
Its features include a quad core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 10.1 inch 2560 x 1600 pixel screen. There’s no microSD card slot here and no back camera, but we’ve got a 1.3 MP front cam for chatting with folks. The device scores 4105 points in the GeekBench 2 test and 2596 points in GeekBench 3, plus a 3399 @30 FPS in GLBenchmark 2.7.
Also on board are two stereo speakers with good acoustic. Overall this sounds like a good buy, but for more details refer to the full review in the source link.
