Here’s yet another iPad 3 rumor ahead of Monday’s WWDC 2011 event: turns out that the new tablet will support 4G LTE connectivity and it will come before the holidays this year. The info comes from research firm CLSA from Hong Kong.

The firm quotes supply channel checks for the new device and they also mention that we might see a Retina Display on board of the unit. CLSA says that that while the other companies are struggling to match the price and specs of the iPad 2, Apple will counter attack with the iPad 3 when no one expects it.

The same company also mentions that it doesn’t expect Apple to launch a 4G LTE iPhone in 2011. Should we believe these claims? Apple is not used to launching products close to the year end, that’s for sure…
