If you’re looking for something close to the Apple iPad, but not as pricey and well specced, then we’ve got another product for you, the iLet Mini HAL. The device ships today, with a $199 price tag and we know that it runs Android, thanks to a 600 MHz VIA ARM CPU with Freescale MX Integration.

There’s also a 7 inch TFT LCD touchscreen display on board, with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution, plus 128MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB of NAND Flash memory, or 32GB of Flash memory supported or 250GB USB. As far as connectivity is concerned, you get Ethernet 10/100M, WiFi 802.11 b/g, 3G USB (optional).

The iLet Mini HAL uses an SD port, 2 USB ports, a stereo audio out, a microphone in, a high fidelity stereo speaker output and a battery that “lives” for 16 hours in active mode and 72 hours on standby. 10GB of cloud storage will also be provided with this tablet, as well as Android apps.
