To make things clear, this Hyundai is not the same one with the car maker, but this company does make some nifty slates. One of them is the brand new model called X900, pictured below and packing a quad core CPU.

Said CPU is a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex A9, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 9.7 inch Retina display. The tablet is priced at a mere $250, which is great for a 2048 x 1536 pixel slate. There’s a video demo of the device below and it appears that this model scores well in AnTuTu.

In spite of that score, the slate feels a bit laggy sometimes, especially when scrolling or zooming in the web browser. Folks who reviewed the product praise its battery life, good WiFi reception and even better performance than other cheap Retina display tablets. However, be wary that games like Asphalt 7 may run better on smaller res slates, since a good display also requires a truly superior CPU…
