If you thought that the 13.3 inch Toshiba tablet was big, wait till you see this! There’s a 21.5 inch Android tablet out there and judging by the name and source of the info, the product is probably Asian. I’m talking about the Kouziro FT103, a 21.5 inch Android 4.0 slate, that’s pictured below.
The device features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a micro HDMI port and doesn’t support portrait mode. Specs are nothing to get excited about, frankly and they include a 1 GHz dual core TI OMAP 4428 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage and a microSD card slot. Two USB 2.0 pots are also here, as well as two 1 W stereo speakers, headphone jack and WiFi. Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a lousy 1.2 MP camera for videocalls end the specs list.
The behemoth weighs 5 kilos and measures 24.8 mm in thickness, both huge numbers. It costs $440, so double the amount of the Nexus 7 tablet plus an extra $40. The product starts shipping in the later part of July and will probably never leave Japan.
