We’ve just learned that the HTC Flyer Android 2.3 tablet is now available internationally, as the first 7 inch Android slate released by the Taiwanese maker. Going for 479.99 quid in the WiFi only edition, the product is to be found at Amazon, Carphone Warehouse and Expansys, for example.
The price goes up to 599.99 quid, if you’re into the 32GB 3G/WiFi model. The HTC Store also offers the product directly, while Three UK is preparing a subsidized version of the 3G slate, going for 169 quid with a 2 year contract that involves a 25 quid per month fee. The package also bundles 15GB of data.
A short reminder of what the product is all about: 415 grams, a single core 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 7 inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. There’s also a 5MP camera on board and the famous trademark unibody aluminum case.
