It appears that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 already has copycats, even ones that include a smartwatch in the mix. Asian company Coolpad unveiled the Magview 4 phablet, a device seen below and packing a 5.9 inch display.
This unit relies on a Tegra 4 processor with 1.8 GHz frequency and also comes with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 13 megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture and an aluminum case. The OS here is Android 4.2, but the selling point is a trio of accessories that go with the device. The first is the CoolHub, that integrates a battery, Bluetooth speaker, microSD card reader and NFC tag support.
The comes the CoolHub 2, with environmental sensors and a pedometer and third is the cWatch C1, a waterproof smartwatch, that offers alerts for calendars, calls and messages. There’s no price tag here for the add ons, but the phablet goes for $650. The in store debut happens next month at least in China.
