Cisco’s enterprise tablet dubbed Cius is apparently ready to take off this fall, via AT&T, with the carrier having just confirmed this launch. The device will be compatible with the operator’s HSPA+ network and it will allow business users to do all the videoconferencing they need via Cisco’s solutions.

It appears that the slate will have apps specifically created for it, once again focused on the business features. A mobile office suite is also supposed to be available, although at this point Google Docs works just as fine. Sadly we have no price for this unit, but it sounds like a pretty good alternative to the HP TouchPad, BlackBerry PlayBook… or iPad 2.
