At CES 2018, ASUS was present with a bunch of fresh laptops, such as the stylish ZenBook 13 or the versatile ASUS Flip 14. The ZenBook lineup has thus been upgraded and the details about the newcomers are available below.
First of all, the new ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX331UAL) comes with a typical ZenBook design, which means it’s both light and slim. Inside we find the Intel Core i7 8th gen CPU, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. The battery life is supposed to be up to 15 hours. ZenBook 13 comes with support for Windows Hello authentication, plus a fingerprint scanner placed below the right side of the keyboard.
ZenBook 13 will be available in the first half of 2018 and prices will be revealed later on. The device weighs just 985 grams, has a metal case and also offers Harman Kardon acoustics. On the GPU front there’s an NVIDIA Geforce MX150 with 2 GB of memory. The product will come in royal blue and slate gray. It has a 13.3 inch with a crazy 80% screen to body ratio and Full HD or 4K res.
Those looking for a convertible will get the brand new ASUS ZenBook Flip 14, that reaches North America in March, priced at $899. This one has the 8th gen Intel Core i7 CPU as well, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of SSD storage. The graphics include the MX150 CPU and ASUS predicts 13 hours of battery life.
The 360 degree hinge lets it rotate and offer the formats laptop, stand, tent and tablet modes.
