The AT&T Trek HD has debuted this week as a new LTE midrange tablet, with Android 5.0 Lollipop on board. This model is priced at $200 and comes with an 8 inch screen, that offers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
The device relies on a 1.6 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and it also comes with 16 GB of storage and up to 32 GB extra store via microSD card. Trek HD comes with a 4060 mAh Li-Ion battery, that AT&T guarantees will offer up to 8 hours of usage on a single charge. The slate integrates a 5 megapixel back shooter with autofocus and a front 2 MP unit.
This product weighs 0.75 pounds and it can connect to the AT&T 4G LTE network for Internet access. You can get it at att.com and the unit has also arrived in physical stores on May 15th. Aside from the $199.99 outright payment, you can also get this product for $49.99 on a 2 year service contract. The device seems to be made of a soft touch plastic.
