The ASUS Transformer 3 Pro convertible tablet that was made official this summer finally reached China and Taiwan this week, through an official event. It’s priced starting at $1336 and more details are found below.
This is a combo model, a 2 in 1 device with a magnesium alloy build and its slimmest point at 8.35 mm. This model supports a max viewing angle of 170 degrees, when it comes to the angle of opening and closing the lid. The ASUS Transformer 3 Pro comes with an Intel Core i5 6200u CPU, Windows 10 Home and 4 GB of LPDDR3 and 512 GB of SSD.
There’s also a version with 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 512 GB SSD, but if you want to spend more there’s a Core i7 CPU, Windows 10 Pro version with 8 or 16 GB RAM, plus 512 GB of SSD storage. The top version is priced at $2038. The screen is a 12.6 inch 2880 x 1980 unit, with a great 121% sRGB ultra wide color gamut. A special pressure sensitive ASUS Pen stylus with 1024 levels of pressure is available for this model.
The connectivity includes USB Type C, USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, RJ45 and an SD card reader. 4 powerful speakers with immersive acoustics are integrated and the keyboard accessory is very slim and comfy too.
