Last time we heard about Asus and eReaders in the same sentence, it was all about the DR-950 model, detailed in 2009. This device packs a 1024 x 768 resolution display, supports HTML and most of the eBook format types. You should expect it to retail this year, together with another model, that we’ll detail after the break.

DigiTimes learned that Asus wants to launch two eBook readers in Q2 2010, so aside from the DR-950, we’ll also see the DR-57 unit sporting a 6 inch display. These products will reach both the US and Europe, using SiPix e-paper technology and Samsung CPUs. Color screen eReaders are also expected from Samsung in Q4 2010.
