A device lacking from the floor of IFA 2013 was the new ASUS PadFone Infinity, that has just been teased for a launch taking place next week, on Tuesday. The product is expected to upgrade the first PadFone Infinity with a new CPU, among others. This is the product codename Padfone Infinity A86 in leaks over the past weeks.
The invitation was sent to media outlets, sites and blogs and it appears that CEO Jerry Shen will be hosting the launch event for the device in Taipei. The tablet plus phone combo will be pretty much the same as the current PadFone Infinity, when it comes to looks. When it comes to specs, we’ll get a Snapdragon 800 CPU inside, a microSD card slot and an all white color version.
ASUS already published a countdown and the clip below showing the upcoming product. Mark September 17th on your calendar and expect more video teasers and perhaps even leaks over the following days. Hopefully, this product will get a more widespread launch than previous PadFones…
