ASUS Taiwan held a special event this week, during which they debuted 3 tablets, two of them versions of the FonePad 7 LTE and one the Transformer Pad TF303CL. The first two are the ME372CL and the ME7230CL.

The FonePad 7 LTE is a 1280 x 800 7 inch slate with an Intel Atom Z2560 processor inside and 1 GB of RAM. It also offers 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot with up to 64 GB supported and a front 1.2 MP camera. It has a 5 megapixel back shooter and a 3950 mAh battery. There’s 4G LTE on board obviously and the difference between the two versions lies in the fact that one has a matter surface and the other one a glossy one.

The devices can be bought on contract on local carrier Chunghwa telecom for free with monthly contract. ASUS also debuted the Transformer Pad TF303CL, another model with 4G LTE connectivity, but this time with an IPS 10 inch Full HD screen and a quad core Intel Atom Z3745 processor. We’ve got 2 GB of RAM built in, 16 GB of storage and a 5 megapixel back camera. The tablet comes with a comfy keyboard dock and it’s priced at around $490.
