ASUS is preparing a PadFone Mini for launch, we all know that, especially since there have been press invites sent to the media already. The event takes place next week and before that happens we’ve got a fresh leak of the device, in the first press renders, courtesy of @evleaks.
This will be the fourth PadFone in the series, actually the fifth if you consider the updated version of the PadFone Infinity with a superior CPU. The newcomer will have a more budget approach, with lesser specs that include a 4.3 inch with qHD resolution for the handset and a 7 or 8 inch screen for the tablet dock.
The renders here seem to show a soft touch case made of plastic for both devices, a camera with a flash and side placed speakers for both devices. The design is totally new and strays away from the industrial approach of the predecessors. Sadly we’ve got no price, specs or other info about the device, but we’ll learn all of them next week in Taipei.
