Alcatel is known for making midrange phones, so obviously when you hear their name related to a tablet, you think it’s a midrange device. Such is the case with the Alcatel One Touch T10, a new 7 inch tablet with Rockchip CPU and Android 4.x on board. We’ve known about other Alcatel tablets like the T20, but this is certainly a newcomer, although its specs are similar to the predecessor’s, but the design is changed.
Alcatel One Touch T10 has well balanced specs that include a 7 inch display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a Rockchip RK2918 1 GHz processor, plus 1 GB of RAM. The Alcatel tablet packs a 0.3 megapixel webcam on the front side for videocalls, 4GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB of extra storage. There’s also a microUSB 2.0 port on board and WiFi 802.11n. As far as software goes, Android 4.0 ICS is the name of the game, with a slight bit of customization applied.
The battery, according to the slate’s maker should offer about 4 hours of functioning and 120 hours of standby use. Alcatel One Touch T10 will be available in Europe priced at 119.90 euros. You should also know it weighs 340 grams and the CPU is of the ARM Cortex A8 kind.
