Xiaomi debuted today a new version of its laptops, dubbed Mi Notebook Air 4G, through a partnership with China Mobile. The device comes with 4G LTE of the Category 4 kind and it’s available in two diagonal versions, starting at $676.
We’re supposed to get 150 Mbps download speeds here and bundled 4 GB per month data plan on China Mobile. The new laptops keep their full metal designs and come in 12.5 inch and 13.3 inch versions with Full HD resolutions and narrow borders. The 13.3 inch model relies on an Intel Core i7 processor, while the smaller unit has a Core i5 chip.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook 4G 12.5 inch also brings 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of SSD storage, Windows 10 and a 1 MP HD webcam. It has a battery life of 11.5 hours on paper and comes with HDMI and USB Type C ports, as well as one USB 3.0. Then there’s the 13.3 inch unit, with Core i7 CPU, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB PCIe storage and the Nvidia Ge Force GT940MX GPU, as well as two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and USB Type C.
The battery on this one offers up to 9.5 hours of functioning. While the smaller product goes for $676, but the bigger one costs $1005.
