We wrote about it here and now the Archos 80 Helium 4G tablet has come to life. The newcomer was unveiled today and we’ve got the full details about it, including a $249 price tag.
French device maker Archos is offering here an 8 inch Android device with a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. There’s also Android 4.3 on board, but it’s the 4G LTE part that should be drawing customers to the product. The Helium 4G offers 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and that’s all we know for now.
There’s no release date yet, but I’m expecting the device to come in at most 2 weeks. Any carrier that decides to offer the Archos may drop $100 from its price, or even more if you ask me. What do you think of this product?
