Prices keep dropping, so after we saw Amazon announcing an improved and cheaper Kindle, we learn about a slate called Ocean Reader, made by the company Copia and selling for $99. The unit sports a 5 inch LCD and it’s being marketed as an e-reader. Initially, the device was supposed to rely on E-ink technology, back when it was shown at CES, but now things have changed.
We don’t have much info on the specifications of this slate, but what we do know is that it comes with social networking features, so it might be some sort of evolved e-reader with a social side to it. Let’s see what else it can do…
