Via is apparently getting ready to release a tablet that will cost $100-$150, but it hasn’t decided on the final design just yet. The company will have to choose from the options shown in this gallery and we know that these tablets are based on VIA’s WonderMedia PRIZM SmartTouch platform. As you can see, the devices have quite a few things in common.
Too bad that nothing separates them from other products on the market, maybe except for the price. Also, these budget tablets look like they’re running Android, so they’re pretty promising, specially if the OS is available in a newer version.
