If you’re looking for a Jelly Bean tablet with affordable price tag, know that there is quite a bunch of such models out there… plus the one we’re detailing today. It’s dubbed Videocon VT10, pictured below and it doesn’t look half bad. We’re dealing here with a 10.1 inch dual core model with Android Jelly Bean as the OS of choice.
This model is just $6 more than the Nexus 7, but its bigger diagonal may justify the purchase… for some. The design is pretty standard: a rectangular slab with rounded edges and what looks like a front camera. The bad thing about this product is that it’s available only in India for now. The VT10 is sold by local dealers Snapdeal and Homeshop 18 for as low as $205 or 155 euro, for the Europeans. The specs of this model include a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display and two 2 megapixel cameras, at the front and back.
There’s also a powerful 6800 mAh battery and the whole product measures 10.3 mm in thickness, while weighing 650 grams. It ships with Android 4.1 supports 3G dongle connectivity and it’s basically a budget product waiting for purchase. I expect to see this model internationally under a different name, since it looks like the type of device made in Asia and rebranded in Europe.
