Boy, don’t we just love benchmarks? Sometimes they reveal the most interesting of things, including devices that have yet to be launched. Among those we find the Acer Iconia Tab A220, a quad core Tegra 3 tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, according to GLBenchmark. So let’s see what else this model brings.

Acer Iconia Tab A220 runs Android 4.1.2 actually  and features a 1280 x 752 display, plus quad core 1.3 GHz Tegra processor. We’re not sure about the diagonal of the device, but it may be a 7 inch model in the end, maybe a Nexus 7 rival. This would make this device an alternative to the A110, that costs $292 and features a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Acer Iconia Tab A210 is a 10.1 inch tablet, so once again we’re not sure if we’re dealing with a 7 or 10 incher.

Considering we’ve got the A110 out there with a reasonable price tag, I supposed Acer would want to attack the Nexus 10 after attacking the Nexus 7, right? An announcement in early 2013 seems likely for this product…
