Strangely enough the Haleron iLet Mini HAL tablet was made famous by a bit of an online scandal, after some claims concerning the device’s fake nature surfaced. Gizmodo and This Android Life looked into this story and found that the device is genuine, but Haleron sells the product of a Chinese company as its own.
iLet Mini HAL packs a 7 inch TFT LCD touchscreen display, with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a VIA ARM with Freescale MX integration (600 MHz), 128MB DDR2, 2GB NAND Flash memory, support for 32GB Flash memory and 250GB via USB. As far as connectivity is concerned, you get Ethernet 10/100M, WiFi 802.11 b/g and optional 3G support.
The tablet’s specs list also includes an SD card slot, 2 USB ports, one stereo audio out and one microphone in. iLet Mini’s battery is able to function for 16 hours and lasts 72 hours in standby mode. Software-wise, you get Ocean Android OS (upgradable), plus many preloaded apps and 10GB of cloud storage via Haleron’s iConnect.
