Toshiba has just announced four new tablets in Japan, part of the Regza line. The new models range from 7.7 inch and 13.3 inch in diagonal. All 4 models run Android 4.0 and feature 1GB of RAM, a 2 megapixel camera at the front and a 5 MP camera at the back.

All these slates come with WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and SD card readers. And now let’s dissect the fresh offer: we’ve got the Regza AT830, priced at $1,000, packing an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor at 1.4 GHz and a 13.3 inch display with 1600 x 900 output. And then we have the Regza AT700 model, priced at $883 and featuring a 1.2 GHz TI OMAP processor, plus a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display. Both models have 64GB of internal memory, which is a lot even by today’s standards and certainly good news.

Regza AT570 packs a 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 7.7 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display (organic EL). This model will be available in 64 GB and 32 GB versions, priced at $883 and $744 respectively. Regza AT500 finally features a 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 processor and once again is available in 64GB and 32GB versions, with a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display. The 64GB unit goes for $643. All of these products go on sale in Japan today.
