The Zenithink C71 is an interesting tablet, because it’s one of the cheapest models to run Android 4.0. Previously priced at $125, this model now sells for $75.99 and it’s got basically the same hardware as the Vivaldi Linux tablet, so you can customize it and turn it into the Linux-based model for less than $100.
Meanwhile, the real Vivaldi is sold for $200, making you wonder why there’s so much extra cash. Well, one reason is the fact that it actually brings twice the RAM of the standard Zenithink C71 unit and the other is… well sustaining the project for the KDE Plasma Active software. Anyway, if you want to know the specs, the Zenithink C71 comes with a 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel display, that offers a 150 degree viewing angle. There’s also a 1 GHz Amlogic ARM Cortex A9 CPU on board, Mali 400 graphics and 512MB of RAM.
4GB of storage, a microSD card slot and 1.3MP camera are present, as well as WiFi, HDMI, audio and USB ports. Add to that a 2400 mAh battery with 2-3 hours of battery life and you get the picture.
