There’s an interesting tablet coming from China, that measures a mere 9mm in thickness and it’s based on A97 architecture. It’s got an ARM A9 CPU, it’s pictured below and packs a 7 inch display.
This is the most powerful ARM CPU to date on board, but not many slates have adopted it. Too bad that the screen on this baby is a resistive one, with a resolution of 800 x 600, but I guess that the price is affordable enough for it: $150. You also get 4GB of storage, a TF card slot (up to 6GB) and navigation buttons (Home, Return, Menu) on the side of the display.
Sadly, this model has no camera, but I wonder that the deal with that CPU is, that’s far superior to the rest of the specs… Maybe this model will get an OS upgrade at some point?
