  • I frankly can’t even remember when LG last launched a tablet, so we rejoice to see them back in the biz. They’ve just unveiled the LG G Pad III 10 Full HD LTE tablet, with plans to release a stylus model in 2017.

This model, pictured above has obviously LTE connectivity, but also brings GSM and Android as the OS. It’s probably Android Marshmallow, since Nougat would be too good to be true on such a device. The screen is a 10.1 incher with a 1920 x 1200 pixel res and an IPS panel and the G Pad can be adjusted to 70 degrees inclination via a special kickstand. LG will sell this item in Korea from December 19th, at an unknown price.

A version with stylus comes in early 2017, possibly at CES 2017 or MWC. LG hints at an educational version and claims that it’s going to try and get some school partners. We don’t have clear specs for the device, but I imagine they’re an upgrade fro the G Pad 2 10.1 incher, meaning we get more than 2 GB of RAM, maybe 3 or 4 GB, perhaps 32 GB of storage, and a newer CPU than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.
