  • As we saw, in the last few months the state of tablet market hasn’t been very promising, with even producers like Apple reporting slumping iPad sales. Also, the Best Buy’s CEO said that right now the tablet sales are going down and according to several analysts the tablet fab is coming to an end.

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO declared that the company couldn’t be happier with how the iPad tablet managed to resist on the market in the first four years. Also, he said that this slow-down of the sales is going to be just a speed bump in the process. Apple sold in the Q3 of 2014 about 13.2 million iPad, a low number compared with the 16.3 million units sold in Q2 of 2014.

According to some rumors, Apple still has in mind to launch a 12.9-inch iPad Pro at the end of this year or in early 2015, while the successors of the iPad Air and iPad Mini will be announced this fall, with the 9.7-inch model expected to pack an anti-reflection coating, 2 GB of RAM, Touch ID sensor and the Apple A8 chip that will be found on the iPhone 6 too.
