  • The Nexus 7 2 has been spotted a bunch of times already, both in press pics and hands on shots, but this time it’s revealing an interesting aspect. Usually, it was pictured with the typical Android 4.2 wallpaper, but this time it’s a brand new wallpaper, that may be an indication of Android 4.3’s presence.

I’ll remind you that that Google has an event on July 24th and they’re expected to unveil the slate then. Once again made by ASUS, this model has dual cameras, that are visible in these pictures (1.2 megapixels and 5 megapixels), as well as a notification LED at the bottom. Notice the 4:30 time, that is another hint we’re getting Android 4.3 here.

We’ve also got stereo speakers mounted on the back and this is the 16 GB WiFi version with the new SlimPort on board and a 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon CPU. Retail price should be $229 and the 32 GB one will sell for $269. No idea if there will be a LTE version, but that’s pretty likely.
