  • We’ve previously informed you that Aigo was preparing two MIDs to launch on the market this year, but how about a cool tablet to rival the iPad? The device can be supposedly seen in the image below and it features a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, Nvidia Tegra 2 graphics and multitouch support.

Aigo’s tablet also packs 512MB of DDR2 memory, an 800 x 480 pixel display, 4/16/32GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a USB port, HDMI output, WiFi support and optional 3G. WWVAN is also on board, plus a 3,120 mAh battery, audio in/out and Android 2.1 OS. Believe it or not, we’ve seen this device before, but under the name Compal NAZ-10, a device that’s shown in action in the video below.

What’s incredible about the hands on experience above is that the device will provide 16 hours of HD video playback on a single charge and the tablet will cost a mere $300. Also, the Aigo unit should support Flash 10.1 and eBook features.
