Acer has debuted yet another one of those 7 inch tablets with phone calling features, one that somehow reminds me of a Samsung Galaxy Mega device, I don’t exactly know why. The newcomer is called Iconia Talk S and it also comes with LTE connectivity.

The product is a dual SIM tablet, that has Android 4.4 KitKat as the OS and it integrates a 7 inch 1280 x 720 pixel display, plus a 2 megapixel front facing camera, a 5 megapixel rear camera without flash, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card slot. There’s a 3780 mAh battery inside is the slate is powered by a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.

Acer Iconia Talk S is expected to debut in Taiwan soon, priced at around $250. There’s no info about a release date for other areas of the world, but that should also happen at some point. If you look at the facade of the Talk S you’ll also be reminded of the ASUS FonePad just a little bit. Notice what seem like dual front speakers, as well.
