iPad Tethering to the iPhone Dismissed by Steve Jobs
Mar 12, 2010 Apple Tablet
Steve Jobs was recently questioned regarding the support for tethering between the iPad and iPhone. The person who asked the question was Jezper Söderlund, a “long time Apple fan”, as he claims. Jezper said that he wants to replace the last computer in the house with an iMac i7 and he also plans on purchasing an iPad. As far as tethering is concerned, he referred to the WiFi only version of the Apple tablet.
Apparently, Jezper is quite famous in Sweden, since he’s a local DJ, but that didn’t stop Steve Jobs from answering his question with a simple “no”. It’s strange to notice that the iPhone officially supports tethering, but not in the US, so nothing should stop it from tethering with the iPad on international carriers.
Did Jobs get his own products wrong?

McGraw-Hill Apple iPad Leak Punished by Cupertino Giant
Jan 30, 2010 Apple Tablet
Remember the CNBC interview with McGraw-Hill CEO Terry McGraw? It happened a day or two before the Apple iPad launch and Mr. McGraw was kind enough to reveal confidential data about the iPad, confirming its existence, price and the fact that it runs the iPhone OS. Now, his leak got punished by Steve Jobs, who didn’t include his company’s name on the list of publishers that will provide Ebooks for the iPad, as shown below.
Do you see any trace of McGraw-Hill? I don’t and that’s certainly a measure taken to prevent future leaky CEOs from mentioning secret data bout yet unlaunched Apple products. Anyone care to share info about the iPhone 4G? Come on, you’ve got nothing to lose… except Apple’s love.

Apple iPad Tablet is Real! Steve Jobs Unveiling it NOW!
Jan 27, 2010 Tablet related
We’re thrilled to announce that the Apple iPad Tablet is real, since it’s just been announced by Steve Jobs, during Apple’s official event. Emotions aside, this is truly a bigger iPhone, with a 9.7 inch multitouch capacitive display, 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory a 1 GHz Apple A4 chip on board.
The device supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, WiFi, it comes with an accelerometer, Mobile Safari, a compass, speaker and microphone. Of course, like we supposed, the iPad uses iPhone apps, it uses the iTunes and iPhoto services and it features a customizable Home screen. There’s also a screen locking mechanism on board, just like the one on the iPhone.
The virtual keyboard it shows is great, there’s also a cool email client on board, support for YOuTube HD, Google Maps and uber-cool videogaming. Of course, Flash is still lacking… Waiting for the prices and release dates, folks!

Steve Jobs Excited About the Apple Tablet; Says so Himself
Jan 25, 2010 Apple Tablet
It’s rare to get Steve Jobs excited over anything, since he’s launched some of the most important gadgets in modern history, but it seems that the Apple Tablet got to him. Sources close to Jobs claim that he was overheard saying that the Apple iPad “will be the most important thing” he’s ever done.
Multiple sources are confirming this info, like senior Apple execs and Steve’s friends, so this means that the big boss is pretty excited about the new product. We remind you that Apple is supposed to announce the device on Wednesday, January 27th, in San Francisco (Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater) together with iPhone OS 4.0.
We’re also pleased by the fact that we’ll most likely see Steve Jobs back on the stage, holding his keynote in his typical way.

Apple Tablet to Complete Steve Jobs’ Rich Resume
Nov 12, 2009 Apple Tablet
As we (hopefully) near the announcement of that tech unicorn called Apple Tablet, rumours get more diverse and leaks get serious, but a real question hasn’t been answered yet: “What’s in it for Apple and Steve Jobs?”. Of course, profit could be the answer, but some think it might be more than that…
Apple wants to write history again, with Steve Jobs running the ship towards yet another success, this time due to the fact that the company wants to make the passage from paper media to the digital era more swift. Yes, people have stopped reading papers and books, turning to e-readers and content on their phone, but how about a new platform to unite all media content under one shell?
This is Apple’s target via the new products and Steve Jobs might as well be the saviour of journalism, specially since speculations claim that Apple has been in talks with major publishing companies, in order to turn newspapers, books and magazines into iTunes-delivered content. Is Jobs up for it?
Well, he did bring a new approach when he was at Pixar, he did make the iTunes and iPod great commercial successes, he contributed his vision to the iMac and finally helped conquer the world with the iPhone. Is the Apple Tablet Steve Jobs’ swan song?
