Dell Android Mini 3 Smartphone MID Looks Great, Shown Last Week @ MWC

One of the products we missed last week during Mobile World Congress 2010, was Dell’s Mini 3, a smartphone that can also be considered a MID, thanks to its design and features. The device runs Android, supports 3G connectivity and uses a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, with a 360 x 460 pixel resolution.

Its battery provides 3 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby, while the smartphone’s specs list also includes WiFi, a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, POP3/IMAP/SMTP email, Microsoft Exchange support and much more.

Dell and AT&T to Introduce a MID in 2010?

Dell is going to launch an Android smartphone in 2010, that’s for sure and they’ll do it by working with AT&T, but now it seems that this cooperation will spawn yet another product, a MID. China Times claims that Dell will prepare a bunch of MIDs produced by Taiwanese company Qisda.

We don’t have any info on the AT&T-branded MID, that might just be the device pictured above, Dell Streak. This device recently surfaced in Vietnam, running Android 2.0 and packing a 5 megapixel camera, plus support for 3G connectivity and WiFi. An official confirmation is all we need, at this point.
