Apple iPad Tablet is Real! Steve Jobs Unveiling it NOW!
Jan 27, 2010 Tablet related
We’re thrilled to announce that the Apple iPad Tablet is real, since it’s just been announced by Steve Jobs, during Apple’s official event. Emotions aside, this is truly a bigger iPhone, with a 9.7 inch multitouch capacitive display, 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory a 1 GHz Apple A4 chip on board.
The device supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, WiFi, it comes with an accelerometer, Mobile Safari, a compass, speaker and microphone. Of course, like we supposed, the iPad uses iPhone apps, it uses the iTunes and iPhoto services and it features a customizable Home screen. There’s also a screen locking mechanism on board, just like the one on the iPhone.
The virtual keyboard it shows is great, there’s also a cool email client on board, support for YOuTube HD, Google Maps and uber-cool videogaming. Of course, Flash is still lacking… Waiting for the prices and release dates, folks!

Apple Tablet (iPad/iSlate): The Definite Rumour List
Jan 27, 2010 Apple Tablet
3 hours or so left till the beast is launched… till Apple unleashes its monster product, apparently in development for 20 years or so. Yes, it’s the Apple Tablet we’re talking about, but don’t look surprised and read on, for the definite list of specs you might find on the device. Click on the following image for a larger view of it and 20 or so rumours about the Apple iPad:
Among those we find very likely stuff, like an unique tablet UI, the unveiling taking place today, support for App Store and a price estimated around $1000. A Q2 launch is very possible to happen, while the aluminium casing and E-reader functionality are pretty much sure things by now.
Moving on to less likely to come true rumours, we discover that the Apple iPad might sport a 10 inch display, although an 11 inch one or even a 7 inch screen wouldn’t bother us. Also, the device could run the iPhone OS, or a new version of the Mac OS X and it’s supposed to sport an OLED screen, although that can’t be confirmed either.
A new ARM CPU might be on board, while multitouch is dead certain, a front facing camera is probably on its way, too and 3G support is far from confirmation. Some even say that a Pixel Qi screen will be incorporated in the Apple Tablet, while others could swear that it’ll be sold by both Verizon and AT&T.
Want the truth? Stick around, for the 10 am announcement!

Apple iSlate Tablet Specs Available on the Web!
Jan 4, 2010 Apple Tablet
With the January 26 Apple event in mind we came across the hottest piece of information of the past months, regarding the tablet made by the folks at Cupertino: its specs. Presumably called the iSlate, this device is pretty well specced, as you can see for yourself, if you check out the following list.
Apple iSlate features a 7.1 inch multitouch display with fingerprint-resistant coating and probably the most surprising of all is the inclusion of a built-in projector. Hardware specs continue with a 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 120GB hard drive, but we remind you that this info must be taken with a grain of salt, specially these days, when rumours about the iSlate are more spread than ever.
The same leaked documents claim that Apple’s device will run the Mac OS X 10.7 Clouded Leopard platform, with a homescreen based on widget and enhanced touchscreen functionality. All that’s left to do now is wait for the official announcement and hope that a bunch of images of the iSlate will leak in the following days.
