  • There’s a new sub $200 tablet in town, the iBall Slide Cuboid model, that’s priced at $156 and comes with a video calling feature. Available only in grey, the device comes with 9 Indian system languages and keyboard input for 21 Indian languages.

It also brings a single SIM slot, an 8 inch IPS HD screen and a quad core chipset. We don’t know the maker of the chip, but it’s most likely a MediaTek or maybe Spreadtrum unit. Clocked at 1 GHz, the chip is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and Android 5.0 Lollipop as the OS. This 8 incher also uses a 5 megapixel main cam with autofocus and a front 2 MP shooter with videocall support.

The main camera offers functions like Zero Shutter Delay, Panorama, Live Photo and Face Beauty. On the connectivity front, all the popular options are covered: 3G, 4G, AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi b/g/n and even FM radio with recording and microUSB. The battery is a 4500 mAh unit.
