The MediaPad M3 is expected to be the follow-up of the MediaPad M2, obviously, but details are scarce right now. Huawei has an event scheduled for Thursday, September 1st and we’ll be there to cover it. According to previous leaks, the MediadPad M3 8.0 has already been certified by an US regulatory body. It’s said to have an 8 inch IPS display, with a Full HD resolution and there’s also an octa core Kirin 950 processor inside, plus 4 GB of RAM.

32 GB of storage and a Mali T880 GPU should be in the mix, as well as a microSD card slot and a 13 megapixel rear camera. An 8 megapixel front shooter for selfies is expected and the MediaPad M3 8.0 is said to weigh 250 grams. It’ll bring support for 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GSM. Finally, a 4800 mAh battery is said to be on board.

Expect smart gestures and HiFi acoustics too.
