Teclast X98 Plus II is an Appealing 9.7 inch Tablet, With Dual Boot Setup, Priced at $149.99

  • Teclast is on a roll lately, debuting quite a few tablets, like the appealing X98 Plus II, a 9.7 inch model with a solid specs setup. It has an Intel Atom Cherry Trail chipset and goes for just $149.99, via a price reduction from GearBest.com.

    Its specs include the above mentioned screen, with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, as well as an IPS panel. Inside we find a quad core Intel Atom Cherry Trail Z8300 CPU, clocked at 1.44 GHz, as well as 4 GB of RAM. There’s 64 GB of flash storage here and a microSD card slot, with support for up to 128 GB extra. The graphics department is taken care of by an Intel HD Gen 8 solution and there’s a 2 MP back camera.

    We’ve also got a front 2 MP shooter for videocalls. Finally, the Teclast X98 Plus II has an 8000 mAh battery and on the connectivity front, there’s a micro HDMI port, OTG connectivity and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n in the mix. Teclast X98 Plus II has a dual boot setup, that includes Android 5.1 and Windows 10, the latter with the benefit of the Office apps.

    The price tag of $149.99 only applies today, so there are a few hours left to take advantage of the offer, for the first 100 customers. The price goes to $159.99 tomorrow and $164.99 on Friday. There will be a secondary reduction to $149.99 between July 16th and the 18, but only for 50 people. GearBest also offers a Teclast X98 Plus model as a gift via its Facebook page via a contest.
