  • In case you feel that the Surface Pro 4 and Pro 3 devices aren’t sturdy enough for your endeavours, there’s now an accessory to make the device more resilient. It’s dubbed aXtion Edge M and it’s priced at $49.95.

This is a shockproof case that cradles the slate into a military grade protection (MIL-STD-810), so it can take drops from up to 4 feet. Shock absorption is included too and the case adds a reasonably comfy bulk, plus there’s a non slip grip around the edges. Cutouts are perfect for the buttons and ports and we also get a compartment for the Surface Pen.

Mag Connect technology has been bundled, letting the user work with the MagConnect mounting system. The accessory is only 0.6 inches thin on the sides, providing more comfortable grip and adding extra protection to the corners. There’s a Sound Channel feature in the mix, that redirects the sound and a port for an optional shoulder strap, sold separately.

The Smartchill heat dissipating technology prevents overheating.
