  • We’re just two days away from the big Apple event that will bring us the iPhone SE and the new iPad Pro, with a 9.7 inch screen. Tentatively called iPad Air 3 for a while the device also gets a price tag today.

This model is said to start at a price of $599. That’s a higher price point than any other 9.7 incher before it, but for that money you also get improved specs. The basic unit will come with 32 GB of storage and go all the way up to 128 GB. The 9.7 inch iPad Pro is expected to match the specs of the 12.9 inch model, with 4 speakers and the Apple A9X CPU inside.

Support for Apple Pencil will be included, plus a Smart Connector, that will work with new generations of Smart Keyboard units, also expected to debut on Monday. There’s talk about a 12 MP back camera with 4K video recording, an upgrade from the 8 MP unit of the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Everything will be revealed on Monday.
