HP 7 Inch Tablet Coming in August?
With HP’s 9.7 inch webOS 3.0 tablet well on its way and ready for the July 1st debut, it’s time to check out the other slate from HP. The mystery 7 inch model codenamed Opal might come in August, according to reports from CENS.com, a Taiwanese Economics website. The source used the info from Inventec, a manufacturer of PC taking orders from HP.
Inventec has taken orders both for 400k Touchpad units and a mystery 7 inch model, coming two months from now. No other details were revealed, but it’s very likely that HP will give us a smaller version of the TouchPad, just like Samsung is doing with the Galaxy Tab 8.9 unit versus the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Some people find it difficult to carry a 9.7 or 10 incher with them and the 7 incher is always more comfortable to use.
Will they also add a stylus in the mix and some cool software to rival HTC Flyer’s Scribe? I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
