HP webOS Tablet to Debut in 2011

  • HP’s Personal Systems Group VP Todd Bradley recently leaked told employees that there’s a tablet cooking and the product will be released in 2011. Included in a project called Hurricane, the supposed webOS slate might be released under PalmPad branding, since HP recently filed for the trademark on the name not so long ago.

    Speculations claim the tablet will debut in Q1 2011, possibly being launched together with a bunch of Android 3.0 devices at the time. A Q4 2010 launch would suit HP’s desire to sell millions of units better, since the holiday season will have people craving for an iPad rival and Notion Ink’s Adam is nowhere in sight yet…
