Samsung Launches SNE-60K (E6) E-book Reader, Available in South Korea

Samsung has just launched a new e-book reader, the SNE-60/60K (also known as the E6) in South Korea. The device will be available locally starting this month via Kyobo and Samsung Digital Plaza Stores. The E6 is the successor to the SNE-50K e-reader.

Samsung’s new device comes with an extra inch of display, when compared to its predecessor, plus WiFi and 2GB of internal memory. You’ll be able to download all the needed e-books or newspapers from Kyobo via a wireless connection and we learn that the gadget also supports PDF-ePUB formats, MP3 playback and text-to-speech.

The device will be available starting February 8 with a $370 price tag.
